A teacher for over 30 years at Brownsfield Elementary in the East Baton Rouge School System. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Horace G. White, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn June Beasley, Ursula Spratling and Angela Bohannon; and four grandchildren.
