Entered into eternal rest at St. Luke Hospital-Sugarland, Texas on June 21, 2026. She was a native of Escatawpa, Mississippi; a resident of Baker, Louisiana and retired with 32 years of employment from Sears. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Miller & Daughter Mortuary on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. Mark Thomas; interment will be at Southern Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her devoted husband, Donald R. Thomas; daughters, Tonya Morgan (Reginald) of Missouri City, Texas and Demetria Thomas of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Harleigh and Hunter Morgan, Missouri City; brothers, Robert Moffett, Jr.(Eunice), Gautier, Mississippi and Donald Edward Moffett (Willie M.), Moss Point, Mississippi; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Myrtle Moffett and a brother, James Fredrick Moffett, Jr.(Gloria). She was honored to have been baptized in 1968 by the late great Reverends Clay Evans and Jesse Jackson. After moving to Louisiana, she attended Greater King David Baptist Church for many years. Her favorite pastime was listening to gospel music and various pastors’ inspiring sermons.
